Every tooth is made up of two parts: a crown and a root. Dental implants are the only tooth replacement option that replaces the roots of missing teeth, forming a bond with your jaw bone similar in strength to that of natural teeth.<\/p>\n

Your dentist will then attach permanent new teeth to abutments on top of your implants. Depending on your individual needs, these new teeth will either be an implant-retained bridge, dentures, or crowns.<\/p>\n
